Project background
McFarland Clean Energy Base, located in Arizona, USA, is an important renewable energy facility under AES, with a total installed capacity of 400 MW (including 275 MW of solar power generation and 125 MW of supporting energy storage system). The base continuously provides green power support for the local power grid.
Technical service content
Entrusted by AES Company, we provide full-process professional technical services for the bushing failure in the operation of the base main transformer:
1.Fault diagnosis: Find out the insulation defects of high and low voltage bushings through operation and maintenance inspection.
2.Customized solution: the replacement scheme of composite insulating material sleeve is adopted, and the seismic strengthening design is matched.
3.Supply chain guarantee: provide original factory-grade bushing components and special installation kits that meet the IEEE C57.19.00 standard. 4. Construction support: send a team of certified engineers to complete key procedures such as transformer test, vacuum oil injection and nitrogen injection.
Project value
This technical intervention will ensure the stable operation of the transformer in the extreme environment of 45℃, and it is estimated that the service life of the equipment will be extended by 12 years, and the loss of clean energy caused by shutdown will be reduced by about 2.8 million kWh every year.
